BOIL WATER NOTICE

Van Anda Improvement District has issued a BOIL WATER NOTICE

This is to advise that the Environmental Health Officer has issued a boil water notice to all residents within the Van Anda Improvement District.

The water is presently considered unfit for drinking or domestic use and should be boiled for one minute prior to consumption.

All residents are requested to notify their immediate neighbours who may be unaware of the boil water advisory.

Boil Water Notices are usually in place for at least two weeks, even when the problem has been resolved, as two consecutive sets of water samples must pass off-site VCH testing before the notice can be lifted.
