I don’t want to be on-call all the time – we can work around your commitments ( e.g. no calls at night or weekends )
What if I can’t come every Monday? – that’s ok, we hope you can attend as much as possible, but weekly attendance is not mandatory. To qualify for the income tax deduction, you must meet a certain yearly attendance commitment to gain the tax allowance.
If I might like to join but I’m unsure – call the Fire Chief, Mark Robert at 604 414-9662, he will be happy to answer your questions or arrange a tour of the hall/equipment.
Can I come to a practice and check it out before I decide? – of course, we will not pressure you, we want you to want to join our incredible team!
Will I be the only woman on the team? – we are proud to have a fully integrated team, the membership is almost split evenly between men and women.
