October 6, 2024Van Anda’s Boil Water Notice is no longer in effect as 2 consecutive VCH sample testing results show no Coliform or E. Coli bacteria in the water. Previously, low levels of Coliforms were detected. Coliforms are very common in the environment.

August 27, 2024The Notice has been lifted after 2 consecutive samples detected no coliforms or E coli .
The Water Quality Advisory still in effect, due to partial UVT and high turbidity.
BOIL WATER NOTICE
August 9, 2024The most recent VCH testing (Aug 6) had one sample from Van Anda that detected Coliforms so a Boil Water Notice is now in effect. Tap water should be boiled for one minute. August 2, 2024We are experiencing problems with the chlorination process and recommend boiling water before use as chlorine content is below the recommended amount. VCH samples will be taken to determine if a Boil Water Notice is needed.

Boil Water Advisory update
July 16, 2024Although the chlorinator is now working properly and chlorine levels are within range, VCH requires samples that pass their tests before we can lift the Advisory. Samples will be taken tomorrow so we should have the all clear this weekend.

Van Anda Water System has had a temporary chlorination failure and chlorine levels in the tank are lower than recommended. The problem has been fixed and chlorine levels are expected to be back in the correct range by tomorrow morning. Please help ...
