Due to unforeseen circumstances, a new water connection installation is taking longer than planned. Work is expected to be completed by noon tomorrow.

Test results received today from Vancouver Coastal Health show that the water is safe.

Samples were collected June 21 as a precautionary measure after firefighting activity.

After Friday’s intense firefighting, VAID called a Water Quality Advisory. There is a possibility that after heavy use on the water system, water may not be safe to drink.
