This outage is necessary to perform the installation of new connections to the water main to facilitate water meters.

There may be temporary, harmless discolouration of the water.

Water service should resume promptly after the work is completed.

This outage is necessary to perform scheduled maintenance. Water service should resume promptly after the work is completed.

The planned water outage will occur on Tuesday, Nov 25, for approximately 2 hours, starting around 1.30 pm. This outage is expected to affect only Smelter and Blewett properties.

Ongoing Work:
Work has begun to install a new water line for the lower Copper Queen area. These homes currently rely on lines running across neighboring properties and will soon connect directly to the main water line as part of the Meter Project. Please use extra caution in the area and take alternate routes where possible.

Planned Water Outage – Thursday, Nov 27:
Water will be temporarily shut off for a few hours on Thursday, Nov 27, to allow for valve installation on Copper Queen.

Future Planned Outages:
During the meter installation project, there may be additional short water outages, usually affecting only small sections at a time. Notices will be posted on our website, Facebook page, and sent via email. We will also try to call you before your meter is installed—please ensure your phone number with us is up to date.

Electrical work is being performed at the pump house today – Tues Oct 21. Residences after the pump house may experience low pressure. We expect the work to be completed by 2 pm.
