After Friday’s intense firefighting, VAID called a Water Quality Advisory. There is a possibility that after heavy use on the water system, water may not be safe to drink. Extra chlorine is added as a preventative, but we will not know for sure until test results are confirmed by VCH. We advise boiling water for at least a minute before consumption, especially for those with health issues.
We encourage everyone to join our Board of Trustees for their regular monthly meeting, upstairs at the Firehall, on Wednesday June 15th at 1.30pm. Contact Administration office if you would like any other information: 604-486-7035 or contact@vananda-id.ca
Previous meetings minutes can be found on the Meetings & Minutes page.
